Orestone was founded on the confident belief that after twenty five years of successful consulting for multinational corporations, not-for-profits and non-government organisations, research institutes, embassies and government agencies around the world, its founder was well-placed to assist clients with strategic risk advisory and consulting services wherever they were operating, planning a presence or engaging in activity.
Ian Betts gained a firm reputation for innovative and authoritative, strategic risk and advisory services in Indonesia and the region, honed over ten years with major security companies Hill & Associates and G4S. Having since held a global role and now independent, he works with trusted advisors, subject matter experts and experienced associates to devise and deliver strategic risk and advisory services to clients around the world. A Note on the Orestone
Frequently holidaying in Devon, Ian Betts was struck by the solidity and strength of the Orestone, a small island of Devonian limestone beyond Thatcher's Rock to the east of Hope's Nose peninsula, Torquay (traces of gold have been found nearby). He recalled it when it came to founding Orestone Consulting, aiming to offer the same degree of value and constancy to his international clientele.
