Ian Betts
Director
Ian has twenty years of business consulting and risk management experience. Most recently he headed Asia-based risk and security consultants Hill & Associates as Country Manager in Jakarta, Indonesia from 2010 to 2015 and subsequently served as Global Head, Risk Analysis and Director, Strategic Risk and Advisory Services for global security company G4S.
Widely considered an authority on Indonesia and the region, Ian is credited with ground-breaking research into major areas of risk including responses to terrorism and extremism, national security, conflict, community development and the impacts of climate change.
With an experienced focus on risk management, analysis and business intelligence, fraud prevention and integrity, Ian has assisted countless clients to achieve their objectives in what are often extremely difficult business and security environments. Though active in consulting globally, he specialises in Asia, and has spoken at regional security forums and events all around the world.
Ian has an MA in International Studies from the University of Exeter.

Angelique Lecorps
Senior Consultant
Angelique has more than twelve years of risk analysis and consulting experience. Her specialist regional knowledge is the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) with a focus on Iraq and the Gulf region. She has led and produced strategic and tactical reports across multiple business sectors, including the oil and gas, defence, aviation and finance industries, and was the main point of contact for a number of clients including NGOs prior to and during travel to hostile environments. Angelique has played a key role in crisis management terms, both in her former role at Deutsche Bank during the G20 and at G4S following the fall of Mosul. Her expertise on Iraq has been supported by regular assignments in-country as an intelligence analyst. Angelique chaired the Iraq-British Business Council's (IBBC) Women's Group from 2015-16.
Angelique has produced pioneering work on extremist groups and their impact on security and and business in the region and around the world. She is an effective communicator and is active in high-profile public events and security forums as well as in the media. Angelique provided commentary on the Paris attacks in November 2015 on BBC News, CNN and Sky News as a subject matter expert on Islamic State, and has since written and presented on associated risks in both Europe and the Middle East.
Angelique has an MA in Modern Languages from the Universite Catholique de l'Ouest (France) and an MA in Intelligence and International Security from Kings College London, UK.
