Energy, the Environment, Climate Change and Resource Conflict

At Orestone we are keenly aware of the relationships between energy and the environment, and are active in the analysis and reporting of the impacts of climate change on population groups, countries, industry and supply chains. Working with companies, business bodies and chambers of commerce, we seek to identify the likely outcomes of these phenomena and developments and to advocate solutions to what are becoming urgently acute problems. In addition, we focus attention on examples of the increasing conflict that is apparent between communities as people compete for resources, possibly once plentiful, but which are now becoming scarce due to climate change and environmental factors, whether they are the results of human activity or of natural phenomena.
