In the maritime sector we have been active in identifying examples of the kinds of risks that the shipping industry now faces, presenting the findings of our research at major conferences and international forums.

Risks include terrorism, the trafficking of people and weapons, organised and opportunistic crime, cyber security, piracy, market instability, trade routes and developments in strategic straits and canals, the impacts of conflict, civil unrest and war, irregular migration, pandemic disease and geopolitical events and trends. 

Aviation Security

In the aviation sector we have explored national policy frameworks for safety and security, analysing the causes of aviation accidents and reporting our findings to international business and government audiences. In our research we collaborated with former senior air crash investigators and members of regulatory and oversight bodies, presenting a holistic and actionable report.
