Migration and Borders, War and the Nation State

Orestone maintains an active research interest in human migration and national borders, focusing on the threat of war and the nature of the nation state. We monitor and examine the causes of migration (conflict, environmental or changing economic factors) and seek to understand the impact of migration on receiving populations as well as on those who remain. In our research we monitor international tension and indications of conflict, as well as the the threat of war between nations. Our findings are used in private briefings to civil, government and corporate clients.
